Kerri-Ann Fitzgerald MSW, RSW, RYT and Nichola Taylor MSW, RSW are the owners of Taylor & Fitzgerald. They are two Clinical Social Workers with over 40 years of combined clinical experience who are providing group and individual sessions that integrate Cognitive Behavioural and Mindfulness-Based Interventions with Hatha Yoga throughout Southwestern Ontario. The sessions are offered through a trauma-informed lens.
Both Kerri-Ann and Nichola are registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and have a registration number that can be provided for the purpose of receiving group health benefits from your employer or submitted for income tax purposes.

Located in St. Marys, Ontario, Nichola is a registered social worker with over 25 years of clinical experience and 15 years of mindfulness practice. She has worked within the local health system as well as with small, non-profit and large, international organizations to offer assessment, facilitation, teaching and psychotherapy to individuals and groups who are grappling with a variety of issues. Known for her gentleness, compassion, integrity and non-judgmental style, she is a firm believer in our innate capacity for emotional and physical healing. Recognizing that pain is an inevitable part of human life, she is deeply honoured to walk alongside others offering support and evidence-based skills (Mindfulness, CBT, MBCT, DBT and EMDR) to reduce suffering and facilitate growth.
Located in Hamilton, Ontario, Kerri-Ann is a registered social worker with over 20 years of social work experience. She is committed to providing a supportive environment and caring presence as she counsels clients through life challenges. She has expertise in supporting people with a variety of personal concerns including stress and anxiety, improving relationships with self and others, enhancing self-acceptance and body image, managing chronic pain, addressing academic challenges, and adapting to life transitions. She is committed to supporting others by blending her compassionate and non-judgemental style with evidence-based counselling approaches. Recognizing that stress and healing can impact both the mind and body, she is also trained to facilitate gentle hatha and vinyasa yoga and mindfulness skills from a trauma-informed lens. For those interested in this integrated practice, a blend of counselling techniques, yoga and mindfulness skills are taught to support well-being. No prior yoga experience is needed.
Kerri-Ann has provided social work services in university, hospital, community and research contexts and has co-authored journal articles on a variety of social work issues. She is also an approved provider for Health Canada Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB).
